Immersive installation
Inspired by the site-specific piece Prelude #1 – The Circle, this immersive installation plunges the audience into the very heart of dance. Surrounded by a 360-degree screen, spectators enter into a symbiotic relationship with projected images of the 12 life-size performers. Layers of sound are superimposed and interwoven to magnify reality: footsteps, breathing and music combine to convey the intimacy of the performance. The choreography is presented in a loop, prolonging the moment. An ecstatic communion of bodies in suspended time. An abolition of distance that transforms the way we look at the art of choreography.
