Given the state of the world, the sometimes gloomy pace of everyday life and the divisions that separate us, dancing is a way to open a window onto beauty and humanity, giving pride of place to movement and sensitivity.

Getting us dancing is exactly what Sylvain Émard did for the 35^th anniversary of the company. To mark the occasion and celebrate this important milestone, LE GRAND CONTINENTAL remix featured some thirty personalities renowned in the arts, the media and the business community, plus many other familiar faces. They all performed on the dance floor, sharing the same desire – to get bodies moving in unison, and honour a choreographer who has made a lasting impression over the years thanks to his bold artistry and unifying, inclusive energy.

Amid laughter, dance, and shared emotions, the evening raised over $70,000 in support of the company's mission: to create, produce and tour powerful works across national and international stages.
